Although, the farm is technically and financially self-reliant, we have news to share with you regarding production. Currently 4 permanent staff are running the farm.
150m2 of pond area out of a total available area of 250m2 have produced 116kg of spirulina, which amounts to a productivity rate of 4.3 g/m2/day. 25kg have been donated to the Antsirabé Rotary Club for humanitarian purposes, thus allowing to provide a nutritional supplement to the meals of 250 malnourished children.
